Final Thoughts
It’s starting to snow
I watch as the snowflakes fall from the sky and thru the tree tops. It’s a beautiful and peaceful sight watching the pure white flakes fall without a sound. My gaze falls to survey the forest from the tree I am slumped up against. The snow that had fallen the day before is now stained red with my blood and the blood of those that have killed me. I see their dead bodies throughout the forest lying where ever I had been able to kill them.
There are no sounds out here in the forest; all is silent except for my increasingly ragged breathing. Now I look down upon my own dying body, seeing

He kicked some snow off his boots as he opened the door and started to unbutton his jacket. It was oddly quite in the house so he called out to his wife. He got no response and started to get concerned. He started to walk into the living room and froze. Lying on the floor was his wife's cloths completely torn to shreds and blood on the floor. The sun had just set and the full moon was already high in the winter sky as a man trudged thru the snow, dragging a freshly field dressed deer behind him as he headed home to his wife. It may have been the middle of winter but all the man wore was a buttoned down flannel jacket, blue jeans, boots, and his camo baseball cap. He readjusted the rifle on his back as he drug the deer over a couple of fallen logs, knowing that he was getting closer to home.
